Digestive Cancers Europe together with Outdoor Against Cancer (OAC), invite you to participate in a Fun Run & Walk at Riemer Park to raise awareness for digestive cancers.

A non-competitive 5K run or 3K walk for digestive cancer awareness.
Bonus: The first 100 people to register get a FREE event t-shirt!

We created a toolkit with guidance on promoting the event, along with ready-to-use promotional materials, available in this folder.

Hofbräuhaus Kunstmühle (06 Jul 2026)

Since 1703 elector Max Emanuel had a malt crushing mill with 4 mill stones. In 1921 Jakob Blum buys the mill and refurbishes it, large parts are still in operation today. In 1988 the flour shop opened. In 2010 the bakery opened. After more than 100 years the Hofbräuhaus-Kunstmühle is the only producing mill in the greater Munich area. It is in the 4th generation of the Blum family. During the tour you hear a lot about the history and how a cereal grain is turned into flour.

Anne Koark is an award-winning speaker, bestselling author, and renowned expert in error culture, resilience, and future skills. She is also the Co-Host of the Digikompetenz Podcast. Anne also works in the area of future sklls for a company that won last years eLearning Award in the category AI.

Born in the UK and living in Germany since 1985, Anne has worked for a number of software companies and spent her career helping international organizations setup and do business in German. In 1999, she founded Trust in Business, a company that guided international companies in establishing themselves in Germany — a venture recognized with the prestigious Breakeven Start-up Award in 2001.

Evening English Book Club

Welcome to the Evening Book Group! We meet one evening a month from 19:00 - 21:00 to discuss a book we have previously chosen that meets our criteria of relating to “cross-cultural” topics. That is a wide definition that encompasses national cultures, caste, gender, lifestyle or anything else the group accepts as exploring the cultural aspects of a particular group. We will decide each month’s book at the meeting in the preceding month.

We will meet at members' homes on a rotating basis. There will be a limit of 10 participants each month to allow for better discussion and so that more members will have a chance to host in their homes.

We will also meet on Zoom

Please register for either in-person (max. 7) or via Zoom (max 3).

Guests: One guest per member. If the minimum of 30 is not reached, registration will be opened to additional guests.

Join us for a day in nature! Germany’s forests need help! By participating in planting small sapling trees, you can contribute to the conservation, protection and restoration of Germany’s natural forest development, and towards creating future climate-resilient forests. Enjoy fresh air, good company, and good food will be provided on site. Everyone can make a difference come and be part of it.

Location: Forstenrieder Park

Time: 9:00 - 16:00

Cost: 5 Euro donation

Conditions of participation: All participants must be covered by health insurance, participants from outside Germany must have a valid foreign health insurance.

We have found a family-friendly tree-planting project from the (non-profit) Bergwaldprojekt e.V. and Bayerische Staatsforsten. Together they organise sustainable forestry projects since many years, working with forestry experts and willing citizens. This tree-planting project is located in the Bavarian forest south of Munich, at Forstenrieder Park (Unterdill area), and is specifically designed and organised for local citizens to participate i.e. families and people of all ages, all generations!

The work is practical but usually adapted so everyone can help, NO experience is needed! and it is FREE of charge. However, we would like to collect 5€ from participants for the guide and kitchen staff, and towards some financial support to the organization.

We should have an (English speaking) expert to guide and help us on the day, and they provide the necessary tools and small sapling trees. The Bergwald projects kitchen team will provide a warm biologisch vegetarian breakfast and a warm soup for lunch, usually sourced from local produce. Coffee, tea and water are available all day...and they say, also a little chocolate....

You will need weather appropriate clothing, like sturdy shoes, weatherproof rain jacket incase of drizzle or light showers, and a smile!
