Colours and how they explain the Chinese way of life - Annette Morheng

As a photojournalist and book author Annette Morheng travelled extensively in China and portrayed the Chinese culture through it’s  traditional colour symbolism.

She captured authentic everyday life and linked it to the philosophies of Confucianism and Daoism. She speaks about the Chinese cycle of life and the luminosity of colourlessness. She will present the ethnic colour palette of China, the grey masses and the imperial purple. Last but not least the China of the 21st century and how the use of colour even reflects in the Chinese language.

A Luxemburgish national, she lived and worked in Beijing China for 10 years. She is a book author, journalist, photographer and certified intercultural trainer.
