The Left-Handed Piano: An Instrument that Respects Handedness

Lecture and Live Demonstration by Daniela Berlinpiano teacher, pianist, classical soprano, and composer with a special focus on piano improvisation and the promotion of left-handedness in piano playing.

In this presentation, the Left-Handed Piano will be introduced, an instrument designed specifically for left-handed individuals. It will provide a view into why handedness matters in instrumental playing and why it has often been neglected. A live demonstration will highlight how the Left-Handed Piano offers a new perspective on musical expression and playing experience. A fascinating insight into an often-overlooked aspect of piano pedagogy!
